Integrate Flik payments into your WooCommerce store with our official plugin.

Follow the step-by-step guide below to add secure bank transfer payments to your WooCommerce store.

Step 1: Install the Plugin

In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to PluginsAdd NewUpload Plugin. Choose the downloaded plugin file and click Install Now.

Step 2: Activate the Plugin

After installation, click Activate Plugin to enable Flik payments in your WooCommerce store.

Step 3: Configure Payment Settings

Navigate to WooCommerceSettingsPayments tab. Find "Flik Payment Gateway" in the list and click Manage to configure.

Step 4: Obtain API Credentials

To get your API credentials from the Flik merchant dashboard:

  1. Login to your Flik merchant dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Payment Methods
  3. Click Create Payment Method
  4. Add your account number, account name, and select your bank
  5. Copy the generated Client ID and Client Secret

Step 5: Enter API Credentials

In the Flik Payment Gateway settings, enter your API credentials:

  • Client ID: Your Flik API client ID
  • Client Secret: Your Flik API client secret
  • Environment: Choose between Sandbox (testing) or Live (production)

For Testing: If you want to test the integration (In Step 7) without transfer of funds, add test client ID and client secret using the test payment method. To create a test payment method, turn on test mode when creating it.

Step 6: Configure Payment Options

Set up your payment preferences:

  • Title: The payment method name shown to customers (e.g., "Secure Bank Transfer")
  • Description: Additional information displayed during checkout
  • Enable/Disable: Toggle the payment method on or off

Step 7: Test the Integration

Before going live, test the payment flow:

  1. Set the plugin to Sandbox mode
  2. Create a test order in your store
  3. Select "Flik Payment Gateway" as the payment method
  4. Complete the payment flow to ensure everything works correctly

Step 8: Go Live

Once testing is complete:

  1. Switch Test mode off in the plugin settings
  2. Save the settings
  3. Your store is now ready to accept Flik payments!
  4. We prefer that you do a production test buying a test product in the store with real money and we will remove the fees for any test transactions.
