No, you don't need a Flik account to make a payment. For card payments, simply use your credit or debit card as normal. For Account-to-Account payments, you just need internet banking with a supported NZ bank.
Anyone can pay using Flik. Card payments are accepted from all major card providers. Account-to-Account payments are currently supported for personal accounts at ANZ, ASB, BNZ, and Westpac. More banks will be added soon.
Yes, absolutely. Card payments are processed through PCI DSS compliant gateways with industry-standard encryption. Account-to-Account payments are made directly through your bank's secure app using Open Banking NZ's certified APIs — Flik never sees your bank login details.
Flik does not hold your funds, so refund requests must be directed to the merchant you purchased from. We recommend including your transaction reference to help them locate your payment quickly.
